How Does Southbridge Carry Out its Mission?
 
Pursue 3 Vital Relationships…
1. Intimacy with God
  • Connecting people to God through Biblical study, serving the church and prayer.
    (Acts 2:42)
2. Community within the Church 
  • Building Biblical community through sharing life together, caring for each others needs, meeting in homes and worshipping God together.
    (Acts 2:44-46)
3. Influence outside the Church
  • Experiencing God’s increase as we impact our family, friends, neighbors, community and the world with his love.
    (Acts 2:47; Matthew 28:19-20)
 
We believe that Acts 2:42-47 is the church model God has set before us to passionately pursue.  Everything we do at Southbridge is meant to bring this passage to life within our church and community. We encourage every fully devoted follower of Christ at Southbridge to live out these scriptures in Acts 2 which are fulfilled through the 3 Vital Relationships. 
 
Live Out Five Life Purposes…
1. Worship… Living for God’s Pleasure
  • You were planned to bring enjoyment and pleasure to God.
    (Revelation 4:11; Psalm 149:4) 
2. Fellowship… Sharing Life Together
  • You were formed to be a part of God’s family… His church.
    (1 John 3:1; Romans 8:15-16)
3. Discipleship… Becoming Like Christ
  • You were shaped in the image of God so that you might be like him.
    (Genesis 1:27; 2 Corinthians 3:18)
4. Ministry… Serving God’s Church
  • You were made to serve God and his Church.
    (Ephesians 2:10; Romans 12:1)
5. Evangelism… Living with a Mission
  • You were created for a specific purpose.
    (Proverbs 11:30; Matthew 28:19-20)
